Haun's Beef Tenderloin

1 (4 to 4 1/2 pound) Haun's Premium Beef Tenderloin roast
1 pkg. of Haun's Steak and Roast seasoning
1 stick of Butter

Preheat oven to 450°F. Pat the beef dry with paper towels. Place six half inch pads of butter on top of roast and sprinkle with Haun's Steak and Roast seasoning.

Place the roast in a large baking dish and bake, uncovered, for 50 minutes for medium rare doneness. Or a thermometer placed into the center of the roast registers desired temperature (see below).

Rare - 120°F
Medium Rare - 125°F
Medium - 130°F

Remove from oven and transfer onto a cutting board; cover with a tent of aluminum foil and let stand 15 minutes before carving (meat temperature will rise 5 to 10 degrees after it is removed from the oven).
